I wonder, maybe the secret of series popularity is slower update? Maybe the impatient and the speculation from waiting is more beneficial to enjoy the story more, I guess.

I think it would depend on the story itself because sometimes there is the kind of story tha is best translated slow

The hard part is determining the optimal release time. Too slow and people will lose interest or just plain forget. Too fast and they won’t have time to digest the story. Worse, the optimal time is different for each person.

Let it come to Vol 2. Then only we can tell whether it is gonna be popular or not. Vol 1 story is already there in manga so maybe that’s why most people will not be reading this just like when a light novel based anime is released we generally skip the part covered by the anime and go for next volumes.

Every story depends on being able to capture the reader. I don’t believe it depends on fast or slow translations, if the story doesn’t capture the reader. I personally enjoyed this so far.

I suggested this LN to my friends and most of them said they’ll read it after 1-2 volumes are finished. They mostly liked a series that has an arc finished.

I love this series, and I don’t really mind the release date as long as it get translated, especially when it not like BP doesn’t have to translate anything, but I want the first volume to be done with so I can find out stuff I don’t know. Especially that Savior or something that that asshole Pope or whatever brought up. Man those five are assholes. Like seriously maybe the biggest assholes in everything I’ve read, or at least in my top five. Man I went of track. Why am I still typing?

Rather than popular its more like ppl keep checking if the update even there in the first place so the view count keep going up, thanks for the new chapter man u one of the best LN translator out there like skythewood 1chapter(LN) per week which is to say pretty rare these days

Eh,i don’t think there’s wrong with fast releases. there are some LNs that i dropped because each chapter seems to take like a month or something *looks at Nanodesu*.
and it’s an LN so the “impatient and the speculation from waiting” each chapter would depend on the translator because it’s already completed from the start (if you could read jap).
well you could just take your own time translating things at your own pace,you said after volume 10 that you would just take a break after completing it so deciding to take another project is already a blessing.
after all you’re just an idiot that is doing this at a whim. 😉
lastly thanks for the chapter (although i would wait for it’s completion first like most of the people here because of the manga) ^^

Thanks again ^-^ about readers, well, it’s probably as people said, the manga covered all the 1st volume, so maybe some people are bored to read the whole thing again in LN ( Although not for all people ) but personally, I enjoyed the LN version more than the manga. And I really hate long wait time (I’ve regularly checked some LN translation sites that is stopped/in hiatus although I know the site is dead already. It feels like I’m waiting for a dead person to be revived. horrible. )

Personally I was underwhelmed with the Manga. Not just the art but the story seemed meh. Maybe in future volumes it picks up and becomes good, but if volume 1 of the LN is anything like volume 1 of the manga, I would rather spend my time re reading something like Magika.

Well, I read the LN first before reading the manga, and the manga is a huge letdown. I guess if I read the manga first, I’ll also lose my interest to read the LN. Guess I need to see the reaction for vol 2 to see the reader’s true opinion.

I do have every intention of reading it once the second volume is translated. That being said I think enough people who have read a manga that everyone seems to agree was… Subpar… That is going to have a negative impact on interest.
Irony is that the manga was created purely to drum up interest for the light novel but is probably going to have the opposite effect.
