Maybe. It doesn’t really work like that though, there are parts that only take 2 page and parts that take 10 pages more.

Well, all of Salomon’s 72 Pillars were gods and deities of war, earth, sun, birth, love, harvest and etc. but with their cultures being absorbed to others bigger myths like Greek, Egyptian and last to Christian, they were transformed in Demons of violence, death and pestilence.
This is done with the objective to show who has the most powerful and dominant culture and to ridiculize the loser’s one.
Since the beginning, religions are used by greed and condescending people to rule and humiliate the weak and make them feel superior. Especially when it’s used by politicians.

With this, instead of going to hell, you are going to reincarnate as demon in another world right away :D. and you are going to die pretty fast since this novel seems to be a hell to translate because of the references 😛

Same. I come from a family that has mixed beliefs(Christians, muslims, hindus and atheists), and growing up in such a place you learn to appreciate not the religion itself, but whats taught in it(ie. kindness and goodness to others). I think the term for people like us would be Theists? Or is it deists?

I actually find those type of plots more interesting and enjoyable like in Arifureta where the MC is hardcore and gives zero fucks and instances where the MC is like a half demon badass in a society dominated by the light or holy attribute. I still enjoy the nice guy harem king genre but if we disregard the concepts of good and evil I’d vote for the demon MC. Power of darkness are just so cool ❤

Btw, when your finished with the current volumes of antihero and IF you feel like taking up another project to kill time, might I suggest a hostile takeover/contribution to the Arifureta translation? Idk if you’ve read it yet but it’s reeeaaally good, however the translation is moving at a snail’s pace.

Hell no, can you see how many chapter Arifureta get? It will be a nightmare to translate that much. I work better if I can see the end in sight, motivate me more to speed up. One of the reason I pick Antihero.

In arifureta the god was clearly a hallucinating old dude with delusion of grandeur, while here in Antihero it straight up denying the existence of god.

From the description of heaven in most religious texts, it’s one boring place. The Norse version is too rowdy, not to mention you have to die in battle to get in. I’ll go with reincarnation and hope my karma is positive enough, and that I haven’t done anything that would bite me in my next life.
