Perhaps talk to Zzhk for a collaboration. A LOT of the names and references are really difficult. Not to mention the cross over and mix of multiple mythologies. I helped edit Campione on Baka Tsuki and it gave me a major head ach. Zzhk knows a lot of the terms and would be extremely helpful should he agree to help. This is just my opinion but I highly recommend it. Then again Zzhk translates from Chinese to English. Its just a thought. BakaPervert if you don’t want to talk to him about this subject I am willing to try.

I contacted him. No worries. Things were said in a proper manner. Its just up to him to decide. Also he seems to have Chinese raws. (90% sure)

About Campione he sure surprised me getting Verethragna, few people know Zoroastrianism. Which is quite a shame. Well at least he still stayed in the realm of Greek/Egyptian and Roman myths, I liked the XMas part… SOL INVICTVS.

Never read Campione but it was high on my to-read list. Was devastated when it and Date-A-Live were DMCA’d.
You’re still gonna continue Arifureta right? Picked it up out of curiosity when you posted about TL-ing the side stories and LOVED IT!

been years since a campione release dont think you need permission at this time…..still though i havent heard of a volume being released in ages maybe the author is still focusing on other series

He was for a while, but he returned to Campione to write the climax, he got volumen 19 published and volumen 20 is coming out soon (or already is, have to double check that) but the DMCA happened while he was away writing Leviathan of the Covenant and Chronicle Legion at the time the series stopped at volumen 18.

Couldn’t find it anywhere, especially considering the story that short…

if you mean ripping it into jpg or png, i don’t think it is possible without hacking or some other means.but, there is desktop app if you only want it to be displayed in pc.

If your gonna translate it, I think it might be better to release it all at once instead of in chapters and either keep it up for a limited time or disguise it to reduce the chances of it being DMCA again.
Then again, I’m no expert on this so you might want to console someone more qualified.

I remember tap and then another translator translatig SAO and it seem their site are still okay until now, do you know what’s the deal with that?

As far as i know, SAO in taptaptap isn’t even touched by Kadokawa and Yen Press. Well, they just give DMCA to big site (like baka-tsuki).

If you want to be somewhat safe, just do a Discord or any others thing like that.
They won’t really touch you as long as you don’t go far advertising yourself. Some people translating some games for example do whatever they can to not be on google search.
Well at the first place the DMCA happen because BT was a hub.

.epub are fine if you know how to do it. The ol’ BT maker was between meh to good depending what you got. But it’s still fine.
I do.epub and I find it to be quite amazing tool. Mind you, .epub is just html and css put together so it’s the same as a a html file, but you can read it in a better way.
About .pdf you can convert .epub in .pdf but it needs some “tricks”. Most thing can now read .epub so TBH I see no point in creating .pdf (unless you translate on Word which make things better), but that’s my own opinion.

I know. I make my own epubs to read. Just Pdf to epub conversions are really too much of a mess to clean and beautify. better have the html files. Both Pdf and epubs can be created easily then.
