I’ve just talked it over with mountainofpigeons, the guy who is currently translating this series. We are going to work on this series together. He is taking on volume 3, while I’ll be taking on vol 4. Look forward on it (don’t know when I’ll start posting though)
On another note, about FGO, anyone know if the amazoness queen in the daily quest of the archer/saber/lancer training quest can drop phoenix plume? I’ve killed a lot of them, but everytime they dropped golden chest, I only got the golden skill gem, never the phoenix plume? Do I need to go to the free quest in Okeanos to get the item?

Yes, the Amazon on Okeanos can drop Phoenix Plumes, but the drop rate is kinda low.
Better to farm plumes from the event. 🙂
Daily quest Saber 30AP can also drop phoenix plumes too.

I’ve been exclusively taking on the training ground quest these three days, but I don’t get a single phoenix plume from the amazoness queen. They keep dropping on gold skill gem I’m starting to think whether it’s actually bug.

The drop chance is low after all.
There is a better map to farm Phoenix Plumes, but NA server must wait for 2 years until the map unlocked. Wwwwww

Raizu-kun is being nice. I’ll be direct. The drop rate is utter crap most times. By the time America is open, most of the farming spots will be open.
But honestly, if you want mats, the best place to earn them is during events.

Another thing… the feather doesn’t drop from common Amazons. They drop from the Amazoness Leader and Queen.

you’ll have higher chance of getting phoenix plume on saber or archer amazoness leader/queen because many of those shows up on those events compared to lancer event

They drop it, it’s just rare. If I recall right the chest is silver not gold. There will be times where you get it several times in a row and also times where you need to do 20-50+ runs to get it once.

For now, just go to his Discord channel. I’m not sure what he’ll do, but I suggested that he use the Discord channel to put up translated chapters. I don’t know if he’s going to get a blog or not, though. He might put them up on Setsuna’s blog if nothing else. And then there’s also the Discord channel he might make.
If you’re not familiar with Discord, you could try to read about how to use it. If it’s not too much trouble for you. I’ll tell you that guy’s Discord handle in a bit.

The guy working on Gakusen started from Volume 10 Chapter 1, which is already up on the Discord channel. He’s working on Chapter 2 now. Chingaruna is having a hard time, though, so I’m no sure when he’ll get to updating. He’s continuing from where Setsuna left off, too.

You can try your luck in Okeanos->Bountiful Sea (finish free quest on Quiet Cove first) for your Phoenix plume.

Okeanos; Bountiful Sea free quest is your best bet to get Phoenix Plumes. While they have a higher drop rate in the 40 AP dailies it’s only a very small increase and you are not guaranteed any Leaders or Queens. Whereas Bountiful Sea is 18 AP and a guarantee of 3 mobs that can drop the Phoenix Plume. All together adding up to 6 tries vs. the RNG of the 40 AP dailies. I should know I just farmed out two yesterday. 😛
Also I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the next event that will have Phoenix Plumes you can buy from an event store will be the Saber Wars event most likely coming out at the end of January.

GudaGuda will also have Phoenix Plumes. Those and dragon scales are given from the points milestones.

But yeah, as Ramirez said, some months ago Mofumofu was working on this project w/the Setsuna team, but Setsuna didn’t keep up their end. I forget which volumes exactly but they had already completed at least one volume apparently.
But Mofumofu’s translator on the project dropped for some reason and they were dropping the whole project unless they found a new translator, otherwise give all they had on it to their contact on the Setsuna team, DigitalAK27.
I don’t know if they found a new translator, but you should contact Mofumofu and possibly DigitalAK27, and save yourselves some work.

I’m glad for the new translation. this series is in need of a new translator. But I wonder if you could do Madan no Ou to Vanadis as well. setsuna’s blog is more or less done with the first 13 and the series is due to end at volume 18. With a translator as good as you it would take no time at all to finish the rest of the volumes.

my advice on the FGO if you want to farm item for skill and ascension it’s better if you strengthen the servant you have with ember quest and wait for event to farm. sure it’s tedious but at least way easier than counting on drop rate

As an advice from someone playing JP server of fgo you should better farm at events because the drop rate is absolutely low and it all depends on your luck if plumes will drop or not…….(why do many servants need plumes damn)

Btw in FGO Horde any Eternal Gear, Forbidden Page and Homunculus Baby you acquire for servants you definitely want to ascend. These items cannot be farmed till the release of London so we are looking at the end of the year or later before you are able to farm those. I am one Gear shot from ascending Nero for the final time. /cry

If I was you I would wait for events I know the Halloween event is coming I don’t remember if plumes are buyable but we also have the Christmas event in December. Usually the nodes are good for farming rare mats in the events so honestly I wouldn’t bother farm daily quest for those unless you need the pieces it’s kinda of a waste of ap

Yeah, like so many other anime based off of LNs, a lot of good stuff is left out and overall feels rushed.
For example, at the beginning when Lux (the MC) accidentally falls through the roof of the girls’ bathhouse, a cool chase scene ensues, introducing the three Triad girls and heroine Krulcifer in the process, but the anime skips this and goes straight to Lux in chains after getting caught.
At the moment only two full vols +change are translated.
