Among the class that was transported to another world, Nagumo Hajime is an ordinary male student who doesn’t have ambition nor aspiration in life, called “Incompetent” by his classmates.
The class is summoned to become heroes and save a country from destruction, students of the class are blessed with cheat specs and cool job classes, but that’s not the case with Hajime, his job class is a “Synergist” and his stats are very normal (mediocre). “Synergist,” to put it in another word is just the artisan class.
Being the weakest, he then falls to the depth of the abyss when he and his classmates are exploring a dungeon. What did he find in the depth of the abyss and can he survive?

Volume 5:
• Personality and tritment change, but never mind it’s a hectic topic.
• If Tio had brought down cold air from atmosphere, to create water reserve it would have been wholesome.
• Hajime doesn’t really need his demon eye, since he possess the original skills to see far, magic, heat with his real eye.
• Should have eaten magma monsters and Helleater, his moster eating ability is far underrated. (Absod Turtle and Sandworm as well) After all, weak mosquito can kill human, and dung beetles can lift 1000 times their weight. (Best user is in Re: Monster)
• Seems like Freid Bagwa acquired space magic early enough to practice, how did he know when hajime’s group will appear.
• Dagons were on edge sure, but 0 conversation skill. Sure can guard their people like that.
• Without proof of conquest can’t find the labyrinth, then how did hell eater got in?
• Remia…, pitiful character. Less work done than NPC.
• Yue and Kaori stands are figurative for negative emotions, but if they are useless, why bother. (At least give Yue, bat, hound, rat or snake stand, rispect the only dragon in the group)
• In Restoration and Soul magic Tio is second only to Shirasaki and Aiko (Maybe equal to Aiko) but it’s always Yue or Shirasaki dealing with restoration and soul. Give little work to unemployed perverts.
I know it’s for plot sake but: (Complete biased opinion)
According to fandom magic system, having magic equals element affinity, if Shirasaki’s talent and AOG magic can be transferred to apostle body and apostle body stats remain the same, Hajime has hybrid body and Alfard soul (Maybe). Naiz, Oscar, Vandre never used elemental magic but still could use AOGM (Even Shia), what did our poor boy do. And if he can’t use it on his own body, enchanting artifacts with AOG sounds stupid.

Hey there are a few points I want talk about. I have read until end of Tortus travel journey and didn’t read Zero yet. But I”ll also try not to spoil.
1. Regarding his demon eye it’s about accuracy. His sensing abilities are just that – senses. If I fell a warm wind I can vaguely tell where it’s from but I can neither see the wind nor tell the exact orientation. In the first volume was stated that with his eye he can pinpoint a magics core that should not be possible . That’s how I understood it.
2. Monster eating it’s since the first novel that he can not gain anything from monsters weaker than him and get their special magic if it works. Or something similar. And that is considering the bodily specs as far as I understood it. The monsters in the volcano are not stronger than the one in circus. And considering that they were fighting above lava it’s questionable if something was left behind of absod. Well there are things that’ll happe.n later on.
3. I am not 100% sure but I think Yue said she could use teleportation magic but it’s questionable how to handle coordinates. Considering Freid handling it by sight seems possible.
4. About the dragons.. well that’s personal opinion but I can’t promise to act rational when someone close to me is abducted. Espe CC ially a little child.
5. Remia being pitiful… I agree. I also start to dislike Myuu in the after story.. but we’ll that is just my opinion.
6. The “stands” well the author defines himself as a chuuni lover.. it’s just “that” you know…
And finally about element. Element is the underlying energy of the worlds the world trees act as a general conversion tool to convert element into unique energy for every world (and also connect to the main energy source I believe). Earth energy is dubbed willpower and is somewhat adaptable that’s why it was poled to magic in Tortus. That energy is bound to the soul. And age of God magic and elemental magic are just systems to use it like how you need electrical parts to work with electricity and everything else is up to personal talent. An IT expert is not likely to draw a masterpiece but might be able to write a program that can AI is a very good example for that.
Well that’s how I understood it at least.

I held back from replying so it won’t turn into argument, BUT well I have time, so…
• Others can’t see magic core because they don’t have the skill for it. Hajime has a skill names Sense Magic which should be usable with ordinary eye.
• About Monsters eating ability, I am saying using appearance or power to measure strength is not the best method. Magma monsters aren’t strong to defeat hajime but they can still burn his skin and need to be defended. Same goes for other monsters, that should qualify them to gain ability from.
• Fried Bagwa obtained space magic before MC group, he should not know when MC group will reach the boss floor yet his timing was too perfect. How so?
• Dagons were equal to slaves, had lower standing than human. If they carelessly hurt top Adventurer or Marchant. Normally Authorities will punish them harshly. So they should act with prudence even in crises.
• Elements as in Fire, Water and so on. Having magic power means people have affinity to atleast one of those. But hajime had none.
It was necessary for plot, but he was no different than his classmates like Shimizu. Normally he should have affinity for Fire Or Earth or both is what I was trying to say.

Damn, read all those negative comments below new update of Remnant of Myth and Maiden of the Lake. A humble request to those who can contact author “Tell him to upload status of after story characters” And give closure to the people comparing everyone’s power with Hajime, including me.
Fellow reader don’t fight over SUZU being cute or not. Each person has their preference, so does author who wrote every character. No need to except it, just let it be. ( Each girl in story is toxic in their own way, please don’t kill me for this 🙏🙏🙏)

1. Status means shit with regards to power e author fucked the power system sideways threw it in an ocean with bricks on top. The best you can do is speculate based on the abilities we are aware of and the ancient magic they have. For example Shea who may or may not be actually stronger than Hajime in terms of as it’s hard to tell since the author never lets him use his actual physical abilities against her in a serious in confrontation. In addition he’s literally been shooting and tracking literal bullets that move as a fast as lightning with his eyes yet the author let Shea adapt to that in the after story like at that point lighting should be low balling every character in terms of speed.
Plus measuring stats isn’t a representation of one’s power for example Hajime and Yue can literally create armies of golems and apostles capable of using ancient magic, sealing skills, etc yet you don’t see them doing that. Technically they can do a lot of broken shit it’s just that the author won’t let them.
2. Sorry but I agree with the toxic troll Suzu isn’t cute period she has the literal body of a 10-12 year old if you find that “cute” you’re a pedophile. This isn’t about preference btw it would be one thing if we’re talking about a 16-18 year old anime girl who has an adults body. But no we’re talking about a girl with the body of a child we call people like this lolicons and pedophiles something is wrong with whoever finds her sexually attractive. The same used to apply to Yue sure you can argue that that this is fiction and that it doesn’t matter but your tastes are real so if you find little girls cute you should turn yourself in.

This is true creation magic allows the user to enchant and manipulate inorganic material and with his ability transcendence imbuing artifacts with high tier or even supreme magic spells is not out of the question even without Yue’s help eventually. Well the X factor is more of a variable like could the character do this or that. As for your question he’s unlike a lot of other abilities that get overstated like Shea’s abilities Hajime’s skills are well and truly godlike although they defy logic.
What’s truly amazing is that unlike the studentz who rely solely on their job and skills to be able to use the weapons efficiently despite not skilled with the weapons themselves. Hajime mastered his weapon and improved it further through thousands of battles and created his own unique style of combat. Unlike Yue and Shia who didn’t really have to put in any effort to get stronger Hajime has no talent yet through willpower and dedication he’s the strongest person to have ever lived and that’s worthy of admiration.

That doesn’t matter characters use ridiculous amounts of mana and never run out even when in situations where they should have long run out of mana. Let’s take the students for example outside the each student most likely has less than 800 in terms of stats on average yet they lasted hours in a war with apostles who had 14,600 in terms of stats after the 60% debuff mana recharge rate, stats, skills, ancient magic weapons, etc. It literally all became meaningless the either needs or buffs characters at his Leisure and they never run out of mana because plot. Even when they are out it’s because they are already safe and the battle is finished. So to answer your question every characters mana recovery rate is practically unlimited.

Honestly I don’t want to say this but he may actually be into little girls. The main heroine is a Loli, Aiko is a Loli, Hajime married a 14 year old girl and had sex with her. The legal age of consent in Tortus is 12-14. In arifuerta zero one of the main characters fucked a girl with around a 20 year age difference she was pregnant at 13-14. Myuu is sexually attracted to Hajime. You have the Princess of the elves sexually listing after a 40+ year old man sure she’s not a Loli but that’s quite the age difference. I think the queens sister is also after Kouki if I remember correctly? And I don’t like Kosuke so I didn’t read any of his arcs but I wouldn’t be surprised if the author gave him a Loli love interest. It would be one thing if the author just made one character a Loli I wouldn’t normally really read too much into this but with this much evidence it’s hard not to be suspicious.

Seems it was hard to understand, so I will rephrase it.
We are already at point where by simply reading title or few lines; entire sequence of arc flashes in mind. So simply reading isn’t fun anymore.
So, we try to solve the quarries about the story. Sometimes get refered to other chapters, after reading it we understand it differently. That’s how this waiting time becomes fun.

In middle of re-reading entire novel, wanted to jot dawn my thoughts and get some opinions.
Volume 1:
• Do students like that really exist? There were beautiful girls in our school and college nobody cared who got close to them.
• Let the girl be; who messed up your life unjustly? Would have lashed out at least once.
• Looking down on teacher just because she is small? Our class did that to few new teachers and regretted it for entire semester.
• How stupid are they? Even in games PKing is considered bad by both parties and these guys accepted “war” without affirming anything about who’s right or wrong or is there middle ground for peace. (Going along with it was still the right choice since they didn’t have any allies or information of the world)
• Magical Blacksmith without affinity to earth and fire attributes, really? (Affinity not proficiency, ok?)
• Obsessed with girl enough to kill someone, but can’t make an effort to impress or confess eh?
• Just decided not to care about anything, 50 floors down and fell in love? Messed the most of development made in abyss.

• Would have been great if Shea fell in love gradually over time around the time When she was defended from knights in Ur town.

3. Knew the situation, still encouraged Shirasaki to approach hajime with new ideas.
(Half of the class knowledgeable about anime, manga, games and yet hajime was treated as outcast. I see some great conspiracy behind this. LOL)
