Earth and another world. Two people with completely different backgrounds and values. For some reason, the memories and personality of Haruto who should’ve died is resurrected in Rio’s body. As the two are confused over their memories and personalities fusing together, Rio (Haruto) decides to live in this new world.

Along with Haruto’s memories, Rio awakens an unknown “special power”, and it seems that if he uses it well, he can live a better life. But before that, Rio encountered a kidnapping that turns out to involve two princesses of the Bertram Kingdom that he lives in.

  1. Thx Baka for doing this. I found you by searching for Arifureta wich makes me happy every sunday and now you do serei gensouki, a novel that i’ve read until chapter 109 (vol 5) but that translator is only updating once every two weeks and since your usual update speed is faster i can enjoy it faster too. Yes, 109 is far in the future but if you do it at the same speed as you did bahamut you’ll be there in no time. Therefore thx for everything you’ve done until now and for everything you’ll do in the future.

Good morning, sorry to disturb you but can you at least show some respect as a fellow Translator to not stealing another Translator project? There’s still many LN you can choose out there

    • Vigdust says:

  6. Leon Toralla says:

Thanks you very much, I hope you can continue this novel 😀

  7. Rozen says:

Thanks for translating the LN ver 😀

  8. Shin says:

you’re awesome BP! i’ve been reading this story in the manga version for some time, thinking that i’d have to search for the WN/LN translation one day, and here you came like Superman!

  9. Kyosai says:

This LN is harem too? Thanks for all good job.

  10. Shiro Kuro says:

    Thanks for picking this LN!

I wish you will continue translating this to the latest release and don’t mind those other translators that are so slow and taking their time just to release a chapter or a part of it.

  11. macktheknife123 says:

    Thanks for doing this series.

  13. Azi says:

Thanks, but right now i don’t have much time to read so i will read this later, by the way is there too much different between LN and WN? cause i already read WN until Chapter 109.

  14. Dangginger says:

thanks for translation of ln and i found you after seeing your mails at zmunjali and i just want to ask how long do you think it would take for you to translate whole volume 1-10? i just want an answer from top of your head its just i can not wait after seeing volume 10 illustrations

Came for Arifureta, stayed for Campione and Bahamut. Sadly i’m going to avoid this like the plague since the WN is essentially rage inducing. The MC is a gary stu punching bag -.-

    • sabruness says:

According to an earlier comment, the LN has different developments.

Aside from that, usually when a WN is turned into an LN the LN is usually highly polished and sometimes altered to make it better and fix any flaws in the original story. That way, it’s likely to sell better than just using the WN with very little afterwork.

Take ‘The Forsaken Hero’ for example. the LN is much more polished and developed than the WN. It would probably be something similar with this.

    • soujiro0 says:

Haven’t read the LN version myself but those that have stated it branches off in a different direction from the WN that’s less rage inducing.

Like the above stated, most of the time, a LN has more polished development than the WN it was based on. Just don’t expect all the stuff you enjoyed in the WN to be included.

    • Anonymous says:

That’s pretty ironic, as Hajime from Arifureta is one of the worst Gary Stu ever created

  16. Hegao says:

Is this fake harem? Or dense mc? Or both?

  17. Master says:

    Man, your speed astonish me

  18. happinezz001 says:

i just wanna ask how different is the LN compared to the WN(story wise) cuz i already started the WN a long time ago and i’m having second thoughts about reading the LN

    • macktheknife123 says:

Going by the pictures for the LN series, I would say there is more fighting in it.

      • happinezz001 says:

so theres not much change plot wise ?

        • bakapervert says:

A lot of change, his relationship with some character are improved. Some characters whose appearance in wn are lacking now have more presences, and in vol 10 the story diverge greatly.

          • happinezz001 says:

hmmm the WN is more or less currently around volume 5 or 6 so maybe i’ll wait until the LN catches up to that before starting it

        • macktheknife123 says:

I agree. So far the series is more connected compare to the WN. In WN after a new character appears they might appear for a while in the next chapter or later chapters but after that it becomes hard to remember them, if they appear in later in chapters.

        • macktheknife123 says:

So far the MC has more of a connection with the other characters that appeared in the LN series compare to WN.

  19. mayurijudgement247 says:

You are my hero, bakapervert san.

  20. Blackbird says:

Thanks I’m grateful for your guys to translating light novel cause I would prefer reading that one. I saw some illustrations for light novel like Miharu meet Latifa so was kind of interesting to know were it’s going.
Web novel is not that bad but meh lol xD

  21. Leo says:

If, during translation, seirei gensouki volume 11 is published, bakapervert will translate seirei volume 11 or bahamut volume 15?

  22. KuroHaruto says:

Wow, thanks for translating the LN ver.!!!
I’ve always wanted to read the LN after discovering that the WN and LN have some differences~~ So thanks for giving me (and many others) the opportunity to read both and compare them!!

  23. Conscript117 says:

I had this wn in my queue to read(but due to the not so good comments I’ve been postponing reading it), but knowing that you are translating it, I think is time to start reading it and the best thing is that this is the LN not the wn…

    Thank you so much.

    • macktheknife123 says:

It is very good so far. You should try reading the 2nd manga of this series, I found that very interesting.

  24. Adnan says:

Where do you get the raw version from if you don’t mind may you tell me

  25. starburst says:

Could someone provide an EPUB? Thank you!

  26. haseo0408 says:
