No undead smell and they still rot so it’s pain to keep their bodies from deteriorating. You just revive the soul in a quantum containment matrix, aka soul prision, phase it halfway out of this dimension while anchoring it to multiple control cores. Apply heavy amounts of containment sigils, obedience runes and slavery glyphs before placing a few of the cores into some golems or automata. Store the others away in various locations while keeping some squirreled away in your own void storage to prevent the easy loss of all the anchors and allow you to have access to the soul prision to attach more as needed. This way you have a few tireless translation monkeys that can translate all you want constantly. Those Tenchi GXP novels are not going to translate themselves.
(This it totally a hypothetical plan that has definitely not been tested and refined time and time again, no sir.)
