Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut Vol 8 Chapter 3
Ugh, my motivation is at all time low. I almost fell asleep from boredom when translating this chapter. The problem with translating a series like this is how long the chapters are, and how many depressing things there are in the beginning and middle before the good and exciting stuff appeared only at the very end.

Thank you for the updates. Baka. Yeah i feel you,but are all the lns have same formula like save the best meal in the last, if you felt bored then why don’t you take the rest for while since you’ve been translating from start of year till now non stop. Translating ln is not easy as nobody willingly doing like what you did, it might even take burden to your mind if you keep forcefully doing it for long time. So take care bro.

Well, try to roll Gacha when you feel sleepy from boredom next time. Its said that it drastically increases your luck as you didn’t expect what will turns out. Perfectly works for me.

Welp sadly that’s how most ln works (atleast from what i’ve read), it’s fine to take a break whenever your motivation goes really down rather than forcing yourself to finish the chapter on that day. I mean in the first place aren’t you translating because you’re bored so feeling boredom while translating kinda contradicts it.

Thank you for translating this chapter, but yeah, I don’t blame you from feeling boredom from this chapter. Never forget that taking a break is an option if you feel that motivation dip; returning to a translation refreshed after leaving it aside for a day or two is a better outcome than suffering total burnout.

Yeah. The problem is, I have been reading it beforehand before translating. I already know all the surprise and awesomeness waiting at the end. Now my sole motivation to go through the depressing parts it is that I haven’t read vol 13 and 14, so I gotta finish this as quickly as possible to reach that part. But until then, I think my translation speed will decrease somewhat.

quips aside though, you could always switch between two different series. one that stays consistently interesting and one that builds up. *shrugs*
that being said I do hope someone picks up Alderamin, that series certainly is consistently interesting. *gives a shifty wry smile*
